Our History

USAdoption Solutions was started by Carle and Debbie Sargent. Carle and Debbie were married in 1990. They currently have 10 children. Seven children were adopted from the US Foster care system. Together, they have over 16 years of experience in adoption.

Debbie was adopted as an infant. She always wanted to "Pay it Forward" by adopting children. She has a bachelor’s degree in English/ Communications and has 18 years of business experience. Besides being a great mother, she is an entrepreneur who has run a successful wedding photography business for the last 15 years.

Carle agreed with Debbie's desire to adopt. He has experience working at a private adoption agency in multiple capacities. Carle has the unique perspective of having experienced the adoption process from all angles. He has been an adoptive parent, a case worker, administrator, fundraiser and development director. Carle also has a Bachelor's degree in business administration and over 20 years marketing and business related experience.

After adopting 7 children and realizing that they could not adopt every child that needed a home, they decided to dedicate their lives to finding loving homes for the remaining children in the US foster care system.

On May 18, 2006, The corporation USAdoption Solutions was offically created and recognized by the State of Massachusetts and filed for their 501c3 paperwork.

In August of 2006 USAdoption Solutions receives a Donation from the Staples Corporation.

On March 18, 2007, They were offically approved by the federal Govenment and recieved their official nonprofit status.

In August of 2007 USAdoption Solutions receives another Donation from the Staples Corporation.

In December of 2007, USAdoption Solutions was officially approved in the State of New York as a Domestic Adoption Agency.

In February of 2008, USAdoption Solutions receives a grant from the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts.

In May of 2008 USAdoption Solutions receives a grant from Hanover Insurance.

In June of 2008, USAdoption Solutions receives a grant from the National Grid Corporation.

In June of 2008 USAdoption Solutions makes its first match between one of its trained families and an 11 year old girl!

In August of 2008 USAdoption Solutions received two private donations of $10,000 each to help establish our office in Massachusetts.

September 1, 2008 of 2008 USAdoption Solutions was licensed by the state of Massachusetts and opened its Worcester Massachusetts office.

In November of 2008 USAdoption Solutions receives a Donation from the Staples Corporation for the third straight year!
