“Stand Up for the Kids,” Comedy Night

Benefit for USAdoption Solutions and Clinton’s Special Education Parents Advisory Council was held Nov. 21, 2009 at the Clinton Lodge of Elks, 128 School St., Clinton. The show featured the talents of Bob Niles, Christine Hurley and Mike Prior. Thanks to all!

4th Annual Kwon’s Kick-a-thon Challenge - Kickin it with Jarett, November 21st!

Kwon’s has raised over $8,000 in the past three years with this great event. Kwon’s hosted its 4th Annual Kick-a-thon on November 21st, 2009. We cannot thank Kwon’s enough for all their support. Participating in this event reminds us all about contributing to others that are less fortunate. It also reminds us to appreciate our families when we assist other children that have no family. The event will include Students for both the Clinton and Marlborough Schools.

This year we added something exciting. Jarett Perelmutter, a 6 Time World Kickboxing Champion who has accomplished the amazing feet of going over 140 fights undefeated, was at our event. With a winning streak that spanned over 15 years and fighting in 11 different countries Sensei Perelmutter is one of the few to hold the number one ranking in the world in all popularized rules styles as well as titles In 4 different weight classes.

Jarett is travelling cross country in a, “Kickin it with Jarett” van, with Jarett, a cameraman and a soundman. Their purpose is to meet, train with, learn and interview America’s masters in the Physical arts and take you along on this journey. People to be interviewed include elite athletes and others living a life of passion, commitment and living by example. In the process he will be giving back and promoting a kick-a-thon to raise money for USadoption Solutions.

Gallery Exhibition and Art Auction to benefit US Adoption Solutions

We celebrated the launching of the Miami Support Chapter of USAdoption Solutions on October 16, 2009 at Purvis Young Studio in Miami.

Exhibiting were Miami's fine artists Purvis Young, Brett Sauce and Serefima Sokolov!

30% of the proceeds from the art sales went to US Adoption Solutions. Thank you!

Second Annual March Madness Fundraiser

The 2nd Annual March Madness Fundraiser was held on Saturday, March 28th at the Spillway Bar, in Clinton, MA.

All funds raised supported our Massachusetts Office. Contributers enjoyed free draft beer, an Italian Buffett, and a chance to win prizes from the Wachusett Brewery and gift baskets. We watched NCAA Basketball games and listened to the live music of Ken Macy. The event was fun for all and we raised much needed funds!

3rd Annual Kwon’s Kick-a-thon Challenge

Kwon’s has raised over 5,000 in the past two years with this great event.  Kwon’s hosted it’s 3rd Annual Kick-a-thon on December 6th and raised just over $2500 again!  This was the third year that they raised money to find homes for these children.   Participating in this event reminds us all about contributing to others that are less fortunate. It also reminds us to appreciate our families when we assist other children that have no family.  The event included Students for both the Clinton and Marlborough Schools.  There were also students from the North East Academy of Martial Art in Hudson, MA.  The event was  held from 3-4 pm at the Kwon’s School in Marlborough on 796 Boston Post Rd East.  USAdoption Solutions supplied water and snacks for all the participants and onlookers.  Awards were given to the top Three Fundraisers and everyone who participated received a Kick-a-thon T-shirt.

1st Annual Making Families Holiday Raffle

During the month of November and December USAdoption Solutions held its 1st Annual Making Families Holiday Raffle.  Over 5,000 dollars was raised with this fundraiser.   Big thanks to all who participated!  The winner received a 4 Day Carnival Cruise - Certificate is for two people sharing an interior stateroom.  The trip included travel during the summer, holiday weekends and the Easter holiday.  There are a number of ship and port options available. It Includes all government taxes, fees, shipboard gratuities, and fuel supplements. It can be upgraded by recipient for additional lengths of stay and is valid for 18 months.

The Second Prize was a 42” Flat Screen HD TV. The Third Prize was a XBOX 360 game system.  The drawing was held on January 12th.

The First Annual Halloween Fundraiser  sponsored by the CMASS Sports Insider

The Fundraiser took place at turners Hall in Clinton, MA on October 24th, 2009. There was a D.J and an Italian Buffet.  Turner Hall generously donated the hall to make this night possible.  Red Sox tickets for the 2009 season were raffled off and the event rose over $2,000.

 

The First Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser

Held at Bourbon Street Bar and Grill in Schenectady on Sunday, April 13th. The band “Second Hand Smoke” donated their time and played for the crowd. There was food and drinks for all along with door prizes and a raffle. Over $4,000 was raised at this event; two thousand dollars by the crowd which was matched by the National Grid Company.

 

The First Annual March Madness Fundraiser

The March Madness event took place at The Spillway bar on High Street in Clinton, MA. There was a live band and giveaways provided by Wachusett Brewery. The event raised over $2,500 for the opening the Worcester office.

2nd Annual Drive For Adoption Was a Great Success!
Massachusetts to Montana and back... 27 Days, 10 people, 1 camper, 1 Goal: To get as much media attention and financial support as we can for USAdoption Solutions.

During the month of August 2007 we traveled across the United States from Massachusetts to Montana and back. Approximately 8,000 miles in 1 month to raise funds for USAdoption Solutions and raise awareness for the 500,000 US Children in Foster Care.

2007 Disney 5K Road Race was a Huge Success!
Julie raised over a thousand dollars for USAdoption Solutions and tons of awareness for the cause. The RV was seen up and down the east coast of the United States. Thank You Julie for all your hard work!
