CLINTON— USAdoption Solutions of West Boylston and Kwon's Martial Arts Studio of Clinton will hold a kick-a-thon Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at St. John's Gym, 149 Chestnut St., Clinton.
Approximately 20 students of all ages and levels will be participating. The students will solicit pledges for every kick they can perform.
The goal is 1,000 kicks per student - if each sponsor pledged only one penny a kick, this would be $10 per sponsor.
The sponsored charity, USAdoption Solutions, was started by one of Kwon's students.
The nonprofit's goal is to educate people about adopting within the United States foster care system and finding every child who is eligible for adoption a permanent home. More information can be found on their Web site, www.usadoptionsolutions.org.
St. John's Gymnasium is located behind the Presbyterian Church, across from the Clinton Police Station.
